Class 2 Organization Validation (StartSSL™ Verified)
As with identity validation, make sure that you have sufficient documentation about your organization at hand. The documents should be scanned or photographed by a digital camera in high quality and high resolution but should not cross the size of 1 MB. Alternatively your may also upload PDF files. For example:
- Registration of your organization (Tax office, Ministry of commerce, Handelsregisterauszug etc.) or
- Excerpts of your latest tax declaration and
- Registered trademarks (if available) and
- Confirmation about the owners/shareholders, directors or CEO and
- Authorization to request certificates in the name of the organization signed by the director or CEO.
At the StartSSL™ Control Panel click at the "Validations Wizard". Choose "Organization Validation" and click "Continue". After that choose "Organization Class 2" and follow the instructions of the wizard. An additional fee of US $ 59.90 is charged for organization validation.
